Conditions of Entry

Ticket Purchase: All tickets must be purchased from the candy bar or online prior to entry to the cinemas.

Patron Comfort: For the comfort of all patrons, please refrain from putting your feet on the seats.

Smoking and Alcohol: No smoking or alcohol is allowed in the foyer or cinemas. Patrons under the influence of alcohol will be refused entry.

Food and Beverage: No takeaway or hot food is to be consumed in the cinemas.

Behavior: Offensive language and unruly behavior will not be tolerated.

Attire: Footwear are to be worn at all times.

Mobile Phones: Mobile phones are to be turned off during the movie.

Bag Inspection: Metro Cinemas reserves the right to inspect bags prior to entry into the cinemas.

Discounted Tickets: All discounted tickets, including Metro Movie Money, require proof of ID. If you have no valid ID, we cannot accept discounted movie vouchers or sell you a discounted ticket.

Right to Refuse Entry: Management reserves the right to refuse entry or remove patrons if necessary. In

Truancy Policy: Metro Cinemas does not condone truancy. School-aged students or students in uniform will not be served during school hours unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Age Restricted Films: ID may be required for MA15+ and R-rated films as per Australian Classification Laws. Entry will be refused if sufficient ID cannot be produced.

Refunds: No refunds will be issued if you are removed from the cinema complex. Refunds can’t be given after your film start time.

Minors: Minors under the age of 13 are to be always supervised by a parent or guardian.
